Pine Lakes First Annual “Vinetastic” Weekend! Yes, that’s right, Vine (as in Wine) is the theme! Collver Family Winery from Barry will be here to offer a tasting of their families best wines!  A night of Karaoke will top off this first annual event.

August 8-10
Buddy Weekend - Grab a camping buddy and enjoy 2 sites (water/electric only) for the price of 1! We’ll buddy up with 2 fers all weekend! Get 2 (half day) golf carts, 2 boats, 2 slushies, 2 soft drinks, and 2 video rentals, all for the price of one! Third Tie Dye ($) of the season this weekend!

August 15-17
Lariats n’ Lace Western Weekend! Dig out that old Lariat, dress in your Best “lacy” Western Wear, and join us for a toe stompin, heel kicking, good ole boy time! Activities include, Hillbilly Golf, Chili Cook Off, and “show your stuff” Line Dancing with Buckles n’ Boots!

August 22-24
Las Vegas Nights - Third annual for Pine Lakes! Play all your favorite games, including LCR, poker, bingo, and dice, just to name a few!!  Adults only! Don’t worry kids; we’ll have plenty for you to do too!!

August 29-31
Labor Day Weekend Festivities! Let’s send out summer in style! For starters, the third fishing contest of the season is underway (Aug 24-Sept 1),  we’ll have story telling around the bonfire, horseshoes and washers tournaments, the incredible Rod Stewart in concert (is he the real one?? you be the judge!) and the Pittsfield Fall Festival Parade, and, well….. You’ll just have to come and see for yourself the rest of the activities!

September 5-7
“Great” Grandparents Weekend! Grandparents, spend time with those precious grandchildren at Pine Lakes, and receive a 25% camping discount! Grand kids, to show your appreciation, come in to the store and pick a special item for your grandparents from our grab bag!

September 12-14
Football Season is Here! Let’s kick it off right with our first annual Pine Lakes Tailgating Party!!!  Decorate the pavilion with your team’s colors, and we’ll tailgate off the golf carts! (Pick-ups welcome too!) We’ll watch the game(s), and get a football pool going! Ted says “Go Dolphins” Deb says “Go Giants”!!!!!!!!!!

September 19-21 
“New Owners” Appreciation Weekend!!!  What does that mean??!!! Let’s give Ted and Deb the weekend off! Yes, that’s right…. Ted and Deb get to relax this weekend!! But, oh by the way, it’s Camper Appreciation Weekend too! We will honor our campers with a special discount! Call for details!  Griggsville Apple Festival this weekend!  Happy Birthday Deb!!!

Second of the season “Trash to Treasure” Yard and Bake Sale! Once again it’s time to clean out the trash, and turn it into someone’s treasure!!! Open to the public. And, we’ll have our last Tie Dye ($) event, and our end of season Pot Luck with
“Top it off” Dessert and Coffee!!

Halloween II - Join us once again for the greatest Halloween event in Pike County!! We’ll do it up with  pumpkin pickin, costume contest, Haunted House and Hike, and the ever popular painting of the witch’s house! Prizes galore, including the best decorated campsite!! The evening ends with the traditional bonfire! Extend your stay till the 13th and enjoy Columbus Day!!

October 17-19
Pike County Color Drive - What better way to end the traditional camping season with this fabulous event!!! The little towns and villages are alive in fall colors! Enjoy arts, crafts, food, music and more, as you traverse around Pike County. And, Pine Lakes may have a special surprise in store for you!!!! Be here or be “in the square”!!!

And of course, don’t forget our weekly Bingo in the Pavilion!!

Welcome Back! Pre Season Special! Take advantage of our Spring Fling and get your second night of camping free! (like reservation) Don’t forget the Collver Family Wine and Cheese Festival in Barry!

April 18-19
Our official Season Opener! A reunion of our campers! Meet the newest members of the Pine Lakes Seasonal Family! Anything Goes Pot Luck and Bonfire. Let’s have a recipe swap and create the first ever Pine Lakes Cookbook!!!

April 25-27
Our traditional Morel Mushroom Hunt! The grounds are ripe to find these treasures! Earth Day is April 22; grab a bag when you check in and pick up litter around the campground! Anything goes, even twigs and branches! Prizes! Bare if you dare, for the first annual Polar Bear Contest! (swimsuits required!)

May 2-4  
Pedro says… help us celebrate Cinco de Mayo (the 5th of May)! Kids can make an authentic poncho, Mexican Food Contest, karaoke and more!

May 9-11
Moms are Magnificent Mothers Day Celebration!!! Kids, make a craft for Mom, take a special hay ride together, and top it off with a professional Chair Massage (Moms only when accompanied by a child)!!! (Dads don’t worry; we’ll have one for you on your day)!

May 16-18
Bowling Weekend All sorts of bowling tourneys, season’s first Tie Dye ($), and Ten Pin at the alley! 7th Annual Illini 4X4 Safari weekend!

May 23-26
Memorial Day Weekend …..Beach opens!!  Start the weekend off with the season’s first fishing contest (starts May 18-26), Barbeque Pot Luck, tournaments, hay rides, LIVE Band ( Cadillac Ranch ), Beach Bonfire, and much more!

May 30-1st
Beach Bum Weekend! Wear your “bumiest” clothes and hang out at the beach! Pack a picnic lunch and spend the day! Sand Sculpting Contest, body painting, beach volleyball, and a glow stick parade, just to name a few!

June

June 6-8
First of Two – “Trash to Treasure” Yard and Bake Sale! Spring Cleaning in June! Clear out your closets, attics, and garages and sell your darling treasures! Bring your favorite baked goods too! Let’s have fun! Open to the Public!  (9:00am to 3:00 pm Sat only) (Join Deb in wishing Ted a Happy Birthday!)

June 13-15 
Pops R’ Tops Fathers Day Celebration!  Just like last year Dad, all you can eat Pancake Breakfast ($), Dads eat free, and, as promised a professional chair massage! (Dad, you must have your kids with you for both activities!) Take a hay ride with Dad, and kids, challenge Dad to a horseshoe contest!!  And, in honor of our Nations Flag, (Flag Day is today!) decorate your campsite in red, white and blue!!! Prizes for first, second and third place!

June 20-22 
Celebrate the first official dog days of Summer! Water games, tug of war, beach relay races, volleyball, and water gun fights! Marco Polo, and Duck, Duck, Goose! 2nd Tie Dye at Pavilion 2 ($).  Western Illinois Fair in Griggsville this weekend too!

June 27-29
Mardi Gras Weekend (a little early) Purple, Green and Gold are the theme colors for this weekend! Bring your beads and headdresses and dress for the bayou! Cajun Pot Luck and Karaoke!!  Decorate your golf cart like a float and join the parade!!

July

July 4-6
FOURTH FRENZI   You won’t believe what we have planned!!  A fun filled weekend starting with the season’s second fishing contest is underway, Stomping Ground (Pine Lakes favorite band) on the 4th,  a Dino-Walk Barney Bounce House for the kids (11 and under), and top it off in style with Rhino Displays Fireworks on the 5th!  Plus……tournaments, hay rides, and much more!

July 11-13
Discovery Zone Weekend! Let’s get down to earth and explore Pine Lakes!  Scavenger Hunt, Golf Cart (for the adults) and Bikes (for the kids) Photo Rally, nature walk, frog hunt, snipe hunts (what’s a snipe?) and learn about the inhabitants of Pine Lake! Don’t forget that it’s Pike County Pig Days on the square in town!

July 18-20
Teens (r’Terrific) WEEKEND!  It's just for you teens…twister, body painting, free arcade & juke box, pizza party ($) and Karaoke!  End the evening with a full moon beach bonfire and storytelling!  Any other cool ideas??  Just let us know! Also, the 62nd Pike County Fair is in Pleasantville too!

July 25-27
NASCAR Weekend! Let’s get together and watch the race with a Brunch (more unch!) Pot Luck on Sunday! Races all weekend long! Relays, anything remote, and water races, just to name a few!  The Firemen of Barry, Ill, Annual Chicken Fry!!
